|
The "Fiberlink" Fiber Optic Status System works with any automation or combination of automations in one booth. The easy to install system is a sixteen screen status panel with eight status blocks per screen. Additional panels are available in eight screen increments, with a maximum of thirty-two screens. Information is sent to the status panel through the Automation Interconnect via fiber optic cable. Each Automation Interconnect unit has its own address.
|
Features
· Fiber optic cable is not affected by electromagnetic interference such as xenon igniter, arcing switches or long runs of cable.
· Display of up to thirty-two screens is possible with the system - distance is not a factor.
· One fiber optic cable replaces multiple pairs of conventional wire. Fiber optic cable is also available in plenum.
· Adding screens to an existing theatre complex is more cost effective - just daisy chain the panels together.
· Main panel accommodates 16 screens - additional panels in 8 screen increments.
· Eight bit status per screen · Four set statuses - Film Break, Que, Run, Intermission · Four custom statuses screened on each panel - Example: Exhaust Fan, Analog/Digital, Flat/Scope, House Lights Up/Down
· Automation Interconnect works with any automation - mounts in the console or on the wall next to the automation.
· Easy to install - 8 hook-up points
· All automation interfaces are addressed through DIP switches at each projector.
· Inexpensive fiber optic cable tester available to test continuity of cable.
